TO EVERY NATION

The 10/40 Window stretches across 66 nations from North Africa, through the Middle East and Central Asia, to Southeast Asia between the latitudinal lines of 10°N and 40°N. The 10/40 Window matters because, presently, 96% of unreached people groups live there. 

Over the last centuries, the gospel has made a tremendous advance around the globe, yet the 10/40 Window stands out as the region where many people in these nations have largely remained resistant to the ministry of foreign missionaries. Many suggestions can offered as to why; however, the gates of hell are not prevailing against God's Church (Matthew 16:18).

God has providentially been planting and growing his Church in environments of persecution and poverty throughout the 10/40 Window. Through great risk and sacrifice, foreign missionaries continue to faithfully spend their lives for the sake of the gospel. Today, the churches of the 10/40 Window stand today, filled with many young men and women zealous to take ownership of their responsibility to take the gospel to their nation and to other people groups God has placed them nearby.

Our Purpose

  • Core to how we function as a missionary society, we assist churches (that share our Convictions and affirm our Strategy) to partner with churches from the 10/40 Window. Our Society does not commission missionaries apart from their church's appointing and sending. By God's grace we may enjoy local and global gospel partnerships that highlight the value of indigenous and near-culture missions.

  • The Great Commission is a command for the church to make disciples (Matthew 28:19). The expected result of disciple making is church planting (i.e., "baptizing them.") Releasing missionaries to the work of disciple making and church planting is the most effective means to strategically reach every people group.

  • As the authority of God extends over all people, the command to make disciples calls the Church to reach all people groups. Presently, more than 40% of our world's population, or 3,200,000,000 people, has no access to the gospel. Of the 3.2 billion unreached people, 3.1 billion live in the 10/40 Window.
